180417-N-FN963-0343 PHILIPPINE SEA (April 17, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104), assigned to the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG), maneuvers through the water as part of a coordinated formation. The Wasp ESG is on a scheduled deployment in the Indo-Pacific region to support training under the U.S. Pacific Fleet’s Up-Gunned ESG concept and serve as a forward multi-mission asset for any type of contingency.
