180418-N-ND356-0149 PEARL HARBOR (April 18, 2018) Gas Turbine System Technician (Mechanical) 1st Class Louie Opol, San Diego native, is welcomed home by his wife during the homecoming celebration for the Arleigh Burke-Class guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112). Michael Murphy returns home to Pearl Harbor after a three-month deployment to the Western Pacific with the Carl Vinson Strike Group. The crew of 350 Sailors conducted training with the French navy and visited the Philippines and Guam.
