IRUMA, Okinawa (April 13, 2018) Religious Programs Specialist 3rd Class Luis Fellipy Castro, back left, from Nashville, Tenn., and Culinary Specialist 3rd Class Dominic Gulley, back right, from Oakland, Calif., both members of the Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions (CSADD) assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), teach English pronunciation to citizens of Okinawa at a local restaurant as part of a community relations (COMREL) event during a scheduled port visit. The COMREL event aimed to promote positive interaction and cultural awareness between the U.S. service members and Okinawa community. Bonhomme Richard is operating in the Indo-Pacific region as part of a scheduled patrol and provides a rapid-response capability in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
