    C-17s are part of Air Mobility Rodeo 2011 in Washington

    A C-17 Globemaster III from the 62nd Airlift Wing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., is parked on the flightline at the base July 18. The C-17 is one of the aircraft that will be used for Air Mobility Rodeo 2011. Rodeo, sponsored by the Air Mobility Command, is the Mobility Air Force's readiness competition. This competition focuses on improving our worldwide air mobility forces' professional core abilities. Air Mobility 2011 will be held at McChord Field, Wash., July 24-29. More than 150 teams and 3,000 people from the Air Force, and Air Force Reserve, as well as allied nations, are expected to participate.
