Command Sgt. Maj. (retired) Bennie Adkins and Medal of Honor recipient, gives a brief on the actions that earned him the prestigious decoration in the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne)’s Liberty Chapel on Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., April 12, 2018. The 7th SFG(A) hosted Adkins for a tour of the compound and a brief to talk about his scholarship foundation. The Bennie Adkins Foundation serves to provide SF enlisted Soldiers, E-5 trough E-9, with the opportunity to pursue higher education once they have transitioned back to civilian life after active duty.
