180411-N-NQ487-030 NORFOLK, Va. (Apr. 11, 2018) -- Sailors man the rails aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) during the ship's departure from homeport. Manning the rails is a long-honored tradition for Sailors aboard Navy ships departing and returning from a deployment. Truman is underway as the flagship for the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group which includes; guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG-60), and guided-missile destroyers USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51), USS Bulkeley (DDG-84), USS Farragut (DDG-99), USS Forrest Sherman (DDG-98), USS The Sullivans (DDG-68), USS Winston S.
