Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command conduct evacuation control center operations training aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 17, 2018, in order to prepare for possible crisis responses during their deployment to Central America this summer. The training included verifying identities, medical aid and administrative processing to those affected by humanitarian disaster. As part of their mission while deployed, the Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC are on standby to conduct humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations in the event of an emergency.
