U.S. and Slovenian Air Force members attended the annual WWII memorial ceremony, April 7th, 2018, in Andraz nod Polzelo, Slovenia, to honor the American crew of the B-17 bomber "Dark Eyes" who crashed near the town during the war. In attendance was the Slovenian President Borut Pahor, U.S. embassy to Ljubljana representatives, the American Ambassador to Slovenia Brent Hartley, and local citizens.
