U.S. Marines with Task Force Southwest listen to retired U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Hubert Gonzalez about his experiences in Sangin District at Camp Shorab, Afghanistan, April 5, 2018. Gonzales was a part of 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment in 2011 when he was injured by an improvised explosive device in Sangin District. Gonzales returned to theater to find closure as a part of Operation Proper Exit.
