A crowd gathers July 15 to welcome Joplin, Mo., resident Nathan Powell and his family to their newly rebuilt home. More than 75 volunteers with Virginia Beach, Va.-based Operation Blessing helped rebuild the 80-year-old home, the walls of which withstood the May 22 EF-5 tornado that struck Joplin. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers helped clear debris from the site.
