Branden Quintana, both assigned to B Company, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, pull security at an Iraqi police station in Haqlaniyah in Iraq's Anbar province on July 13. Paratroopers with B Company, 2/325 AIR secured the area while 2/82 military police taught a class to the Haqlaniyah IPs. Ballentine is a native of Benson, N.C., and Quintana is from Queens, N.Y. As one of the few units to have taken part in every major campaign of the U.S. military's operations in Iraq, the 2/82 has been tasked with strengthening the Iraqi Security Forces as they work to maintain a safe and secure environment for the Iraqi people as the 2/82 leads the transition of U.S. Forces out of Iraq.
