Reserve Officers' Training Corps students from Washington State University, The University of Idaho, Central Washington University and other regional programs competed in a skills course April 7, 2018 on Joint Base Lewis-McChord put on by the 194th Air Support Operations Group. Performing multiple tasks as a group of 5-10 the teams were tested physically and mentally. Tier 2 TACP specific tests are being implemented across the Air National Guard meaning more stringent requirements for those hoping to attain the title. Land navigation, self-aid buddy care, and visual recognition challenges did just that, challenged the regional ROTC students.
