Virgin Islands National Guard, personnel attended Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Prevention training during individual weapons qualification at Camp McCain in Grenada, Mississippi. Janel Perkins, the prevention specialist for the Army SHARP program conducted a six-hour training from the Mind’s Eye II module with approximately 47 VING soldiers, April 7.
“The whole premise of Mind’s Eye II is to confront our personal biases and to bring us closer to the Army profession,” said Perkins. “We want our values to line up with the Army values and ultimately change the climate and culture to promote a healthy environment.”
