A marker is shown July 8, 2015, at Badger Drop Zone at Fort McCoy, Wis., placed by an observer with the 934th Airlift Wing of Minneapolis-Saint Paul Air Reserve Station, Minn., for the completion of airdrops by a C-130 Hercules. The 934th regularly uses the drop zone for airdrop operations, which in turn prepares aircrews for overseas airdrop operations. The 934th’s mission is to fly C-130H cargo aircraft, delivering both cargo and personnel. Aeromedical evacuation of patients within the theater of operations is another facet of the wing’s mission.
