A picturesque view of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area can be seen March 15 from the Red Rock Canyon Visitor’s Center near Las Vegas. Millions of people visit the conservation area each year to view the canyon’s vivid colors, rock formations and unique features molded over more than 600 million years, as well as its archeological features, like pictographs and petroglyphs, left on the canyon walls from cultures long ago.
