A panoramic view of the canyons can be seen March 15 from inside the visitor’s center at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area near Las Vegas. About 30 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers geologists and technicians participated in a paleoflood exercise and hiked the Keystone Thrust Fault trail as part of a capstone event to the 2018 Geotechnical, Geology and Materials Community of Practice National Training Event March 13 to 15 in Boulder City, Nevada.
