Sailors assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS Boone work with sailors assigned to Chilean navy ship CNS Capitan Prat during a maritime interdiction exercise. Boone and Prat sailors conducted a visit, board, search and seizure of a nearby vessel used for the exercise. Boone is participating in the Pacific phase of UNITAS 52, which includes the navies of Chile, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador. UNITAS is a multinational exercise as part of Southern Seas 2011.
