KINGSTON, Wash. (March 24, 2018) Electronics Technician 3rd Class Justin Gipson, from Tipton, Iowa, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), uses a sledgehammer to level a stone during a Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions (CSADD) community service outing, March 24, 2018. CSADD Sailors promote positive choices and develop leadership through organizing local social networks, facilitating discussion, producing visual messages, promoting community involvement and hosting recreational events. Nimitz is conducting a docking planned incremental availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility where the ship is receiving scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
