Drill instructors with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, enter a squad bay at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 29. Prior to the event, drill instructors spend time preparing their recruits to pass the inspection by telling them what to expect. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate June 1.
