CAMP LESTER, OKINAWA, Japan – Don Gardner runs from a zombie during an American Red Cross hosted Zombie Run March 31 aboard Camp Lester, Okinawa, Japan. Runners had three flags that zombie volunteers tried to grab. When runners were caught they had to answer a disaster question. The zombie apocalypse themed run was designed to help spread awareness about disasters and how to prepare for them. Gardner is a regional program manager with American Red Cross.
