Staff Sgt. Russell Johnson, loadmaster, 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, marshals a K-loader with bundles of meals ready to eat in place behind a C-17 Globemaster III on July 8. Later, the C-17 crew air dropped a total of 48,000 pounds of MREs to resupply forces on the ground in Afghanistan. It was one of two re-supply air drop missions flown by the crew that day.
