SANTA ISABEL, Puerto Rico, February 12, 2018 - Members from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) load hazardous waste to be disposed of at a Collection Center in Salinas. Communities have been provided a guidance on the importance of separating and categorizing toxic waste as prevention against environmental pollution. In collaboration with FEMA, the EPA has the mission of collecting and properly disposing of household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronics during the Hurricane Maria response in Puerto Rico.
