CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait – In the twilight hours, service members and civilians began their first steps of the 26.2 mile Bataan Death March on March 25, 2018. The event, which honors those individuals lost during the real Bataan Death March, began a little after 4 a.m. Each participant carried more than 35 pounds of weight in a rucksack and endured the Kuwait sun, sand and humidity.
