Chief Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Fuel) Horatio Johnson, from Miami, Fla., signals to the pilot of a UH-1Y Venom from the Marine Light Attack Helicopter detachment of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 166 reinforced, the aviation combat element for the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), to land on the flight deck of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), during an amphibious squadron and MEU integration (PMINT) exercise. PMINT is a training evolution between Essex Amphibious Ready Group and 13th MEU, which allows Sailors and Marines to train as a cohesive unit in preparation for their upcoming deployment.
