Recruits with Echo Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, perform ammunition can lifts during a combat fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 23. Recruits paired up for this portion of the event so their partners could count for them while they performed each lift. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Echo Company is scheduled to graduate May 11.
