SAN ANTONIO – (March 24, 2018) More than 40 high school, middle school, and elementary school teams from south Texas competed in the Georgetown SeaPerch Underwater Robotics Challenge Regional Competition held at the Georgetown Recreation Center. The first-place teams from the high school and middle school divisions advanced to the International SeaPerch Championships to be held at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, June 1 – 3, 2018. Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) Southwest Region City Outreach Program in cooperation with the Georgetown Independent School District and NRD San Antonio hosted the regional qualifier.
