Most power restoration material on the island is received by barge at either Port of San Juan or Port of Ponce. Cranes move the materials off the barge and organize them for inventory. Within 24 hours of arrival, contractors are notified of the arrival of new material. Contractors pick up most materials within 24 to 48 hours.
