Lt. Col. Theodore Lane, 52nd Expeditionary Flying Training Squadron, instructor pilot, instructs an Iraqi student pilot during a morning sortie over Combat Operation Base Speicher, Tikrit, Iraq on June 29. This training portion is devoted to graduating Iraqi instructor pilots to achieve the foundation to self sustain Iraqi air power. The primary aircraft for training is the T-6 Texan.
