Bernadine Crosby, the MCCS special events coordinator for Cherry Point, congratulates Michael Reed, a psychologist from nearby New Bern, N.C., after Reed finished first in the 51-60 age group in the station’s annual MCCS Mountain Bike Challenge June 18. “Nobody puts on a better affair than the Marines do,” said Reed. “Cherry Point has a great outreach to the community.”
