Lynch, operations officer for MARSOC, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, catches his breath after crossing the finish line first during Cherry Point’s annual MCCS Mountain Bike Challenge at the Piranha Pit trails June 18. Lynch finished the seven-mile, tree winding course in 28 minutes, 14 seconds.
