Lesley Nojodipo (left) of the Suriname army, present a graduation certificate to a Surinamese soldier who successfully completed security forces training June 29. The South Dakota Army National Guard’s 235th Military Police Company, from Rapid City, S.D., trained and evaluated class 11-01 on an array of security force techniques, tactics, and procedures during the New Horizons 2011 training exercise. New Horizons is a cooperative humanitarian mission between the Suriname government and the United States Southern Command with the goal of helping to improve the quality of life for the people of Suriname.
