Sailors assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS McClusky conduct a foreign object damage walk down on the flight deck before receiving a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force SH-60K Sea Hawk helicopter during a joint forces passing exercise. The exercise included six ships from the U.S. and Japan and required the ships to line up in diamond formation and perform various evasive maneuvers, flight operations and mock underway replenishments.
