    26th Marine Expeditionary Unit

MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 13, 2018) U.S. Marines assigned to 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) go over an ethics and values lesson during a Lance Corporal’s Course aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21) March 13, 2018. The course teaches Marines ethics, values and leadership skills to develop their character and teach them the importance of small unit leadership in the U.S. Marine Corps and improve their professional education while deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
