Chief Petty Officer Billy Goold, assigned to Commander, Task Group 56.1, conducts a pre-dive inspection on a U.S. Army diver assigned to the 7th Engineer Dive Team. CTG 56.1 divers, U.S. Army divers and Iraqi divers are conducting dive operations to raise and remove a sunken pier at the port of Umm Qasr. CTG 56.1 supports maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
