Mouse River pressures and heights reach unprecedented levels breaching the levees and requiring the immediate evacuation of over 11,000 Minot, N.D., residents to include nearly 1,000 Air Force Global Strike Command airmen, June 24. With the Souris River water levels continuing to rise and Lake Darling Dam increasing the flow of water it releases to 29,000 cubic feet per second, an estimated 4,000 homes are expected to suffer significant water damage by day's end.
