Local dignitaries from the Chuuk State Government and the U.S Embassy in Pohnpei all gathered for the ground-breaking ceremony. . NMCB-11 is forward deployed to execute construction, humanitarian and foreign assistance, and theater security cooperation in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
