Senior Airman Matthew Mobley and Staff Sgt. Oscar Alvarado checks wind gauges and clear two UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters across the runway at Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq. Air traffic controllers ensure that there are no high winds or traffic in the departure route of any aircraft before leaving the base. Both Airmen are air traffic controllers with the 506th Operations Support Squadron.
