The memorial stand of U.S. Army Sgt. Devin Snyder, a military police officers with the 164th Military Police Company, 793rd Military Police Battalion, 3rd Maneuver Enhancement Brigade from Cohockton, N.Y., June 11 on Forward Operating Base Mehtar Lam, Afghanistan. Snyder and three other soldiers from the 164th MP Company, U.S. Army Sgt. Christopher Bell, of Saint Joseph, Mich., U.S. Army Sgt. Joshua D. Powell, of Tyler, Texas, and U.S. Army Spc. Robert Voakes, Jr., of Hancock, Mich., were killed in an improvised explosive device attack June 4 outside the village of Khanda in Laghman province, Afghanistan.
