MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 5, 2018) U.S. Marine Corps Corporal’s Course instructors assigned to 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) stand in front of an audience during a Corporal’s Course graduation ceremony aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21) March 5, 2018. The four-week long course conducted at sea in the 6th Fleet area of operations teaches Marines the embodiment and responsibilities of being a Non-Commissioned Officer. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
