Lt. Col. Kristian von Heimburg is awarded the Bronze Star Medal during a change of command ceremony aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, Feb. 23. Von Heimburg recieved the award for his actions as the Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224 commanding officer both on station and during deployment.
