A Trinidad and Tobago competitor aims his weapon during the sniper night shooting event at this year’s Fuerzas Comando competition. With only a flare to illuminate the sky, the event challenges snipers to shoot five targets from distances of 200 to 500 meters. Fuerzas Comando, which was established in 2004, is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored special operations skills competition and senior leader seminar which is conducted annually in Central and South America and the Caribbean.
