Col. Michael Scalise presents the Joint Operational Support Airlift Center Unit of the Year award in the United States Marine Corps Small Aircraft Category to Lt. Col. Quentin Vaughn on Marine Corps Air Station New River, Feb.14. The JOSAC Unit of the Year award is given out to operational support airlift units by the United States Transportation Command as an acknowledgment of their contribution to the Operational Support Airlift Program with enthusiasm, cooperation and flexibility. Scalise is the deputy commander of Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.
