COL Dina S. Wandler, commander of First Recruiting Brigade, presented the New York City Recruiting Battalion the streamer for the Army’s Superior Unit award for recruiting excellence for meritorious performance of a difficult and challenging mission during the battalion’s change of responsibility ceremony, Brooklyn, New York, Feb, 23. At the ceremony, CSM Peterson turned over command of the battalion to incoming CSM Latosha Ravenell, previously assigned to the Salt Lake City Recruiting Battalion.
