CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (Feb. 25, 2018) Air Force Senior Airman Sidney Blackwood from Germantown, Tenn., attempts to avoid being pinned by Navy Petty Officer Blake Borges of Forestville, Ill. in the 74 kg weight class of the 2018 Armed Forces Wrestling Championship freestyle competition. Blackwood is a member of the Armed Forces Sports program’s All-Air Force wrestling team. AFS All-Service teams provide servicemembers opportunities to participate in national and international competitions including the Military World Games and the Olympics. Servicemembers can advance to the All-Service level sports by competing in unit level intramurals through their branch’s sports and fitness program.
