In a reunion of sorts, two former 1st "Ironhorse" Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division commanders, the current Ironhorse Brigade commander and the brigade's command sergeant major took the opportunity to tell stories and pose for a photo, April 16, at Camp Taji, Iraq. The photo opportunity came during a visit by the U.S. Army Europe commanding general Gen. David D. McKiernan to the base camp. Pictured are from left to right: Col. Robert Abrams, executive officer to Gen. McKiernan; Gen. McKiernan; Col. Paul E. Funk II, 1st BCT commander; and Command Sgt. Maj. Stanley D. Small, Ironhorse's top noncommissioned officer.
