CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (Feb. 24, 2018) Navy Petty Officer Bobby Yamashita from Colorado Springs, Colo., pins Air Force Airman 1st Class Brennan Giffen of Glenn Elynn, Ill., in the 72 kg weight class of the 2018 Armed Forces Wrestling Championship Greco-Roman competition. Yamashita is a member of the Armed Forces Sports program’s All-Navy wrestling team. AFS All-Service teams provide servicemembers opportunities to participate in national and international competitions including the Military World Games and the Olympics. Servicemembers can advance to the All-Service level sports by competing in unit level intramurals through their branch’s sports and fitness program.
