Hershel "Woody" Williams, a retired marine corps warrant officer and last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from the Battle of Iwo Jima, poses with some marine corps reenactors at the annual Iwo Jima Survivors' Reunion February 17, 2018, at the Wellington Banquet Center in Wichita Falls, Texas. Williams was a flamethrower operator during his tour in the Pacific Theater. To honor him, reenactors armed with an authentic working flamethrower came to the reunion to give Williams one last spray of the weapon he carried throughout the war.
