U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contractors work to repair water damage caused by Hurricane Maria at the Bayamon Police Command Office, February 23, 2018.
The team is executing contracts to make structures water tight, eliminate hazards such as exposed electrical wiring, and perform mold remediation. The Federal Emergency Management Agency tasked the Corps with repairs to critical public facilities in Puerto Rico following the storm. The Corps has completed repairs and construction for 64 of the 100 facilities.
