Karl Thomsen shows a visitor how to signal the status of a simulated class bravo fire as flight deck personnel demonstrate aircraft firefighting drills to friends and family on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during the ship's tiger cruise. Carl Vinson and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17 recently completed a deployment the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.
