A U.S. Marine with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 162 Reinforced (REIN) reinstalls a rear tail panel of a UH-1Y Venom helicopter as part of corrosion control maintenance where Marines inspect the aircraft and remove any corrosion caused by oxidation and lubricate parts as a part of preventative maintenance aboard the amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21) Feb. 17, 2018.. The 26th MEU is participating in a deployment at sea to conduct maritime and peace keeping operations, as well as maintain relations with foreign militaries through joint exercises.
